Do I have to create an account to watch VetTube videos?

Yes. You can see the general information about the VetTube videos, as well as their trailers without creating an account. To be able to watch the full videos and other useful information, it is nevertheless necessary to register (free).

How do I log in to the website?

Please click on the “login” button at the top of the page and introduce your e-mail address and password you have chosen during the registration process. The next step is to click on “enter” on your keyboard or “login” on the screen.

How can I search/find videos?

You can search for a video in different ways:

-    The easiest way to find a video, is by using the search bar. Introduce a search term in the search bar, click then on enter or on the magnifying glass at the right. You will see the list of videos that correspond to your search term.    
You can also search for a video by clicking on the “+”-symbol of the search bar. Select the type of video you wish to find, the wanted language, domain and/or the involved species. Then click on search. To undo one or more of the filters, you simply uncheck the item.

-    By going through the list of videos on the homepage.  You can navigate on the page and check the title and miniature of each video.

-    You can also find a video via the quick filters at the top of the page (HOW TO, WEBINARS & CHRONOLOGICAL). You click for instance on “Webinars” and check the list of videos that appears.

How do I visualize a video?

To be able to visualize a video, it is first required to have a VetTube account and to log in to the website (see explications above). Once logged in to the website, you can consult the list of available videos on our homepage or you can search a specific video by using the search bar (by introducing search terms or by using the filters). After having found a video that interests you, you either click on the image of the video or on the title to open the video page.

 

-    In case it is a free video, you just have to click on the play button to watch the video;

 

-    In case it is a pay-per-view video, you can also click on the play button, but you will only get to see the trailer of the video. In order to watch the full video, you need to purchase it, through the “buy” button (for non-subscribers) or the “included” button (for members). Subscribers then just have to confirm their selection. For non-subscribers this will add the video to your shopping cart. Then go to the shopping cart at the top of the page and follow the payment instructions. After having completed the payment procedure, the video will be available in your personal user zone under the heading “My videos”.

What are the technical requirements to be able to watch videos on VetTube?

If you wish to consult the VetTube videos, you need to have the following minimal requirements:  

-    Compatible browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari

-    Adobe Flash Player or a navigator that supports HTML5

-    Internet connexion with a debit of 450+ Kbps (SD) or 1+ Mbps (HD)

What is the DUO/TEAM membership and how do I become member?

It is not necessary to become member in order to have access to the videos (a free registration to the website suffices). However, if you wish to benefit from our offer during a longer period, you can become a DUO or TEAM member and enjoy the following benefits:

 

- An unlimited access to the videos

- An access for 2 (DUO) or 5 users (TEAM)

- The possibility to split the payment (domiciliation through secure payment) 

 

To become member, log into the website and click on “subscribe” at the top of the page. Please fill out the requested fields and choose the type and duration (monthly/yearly) of subscription that suits you the best.

How do I edit my account information like password and email address?

In order to edit your account information, you first have to log in. When you are logged in, you go to button that contains your name and subsequently “my profile” at the top of the page, where you can edit the necessary information, such as your password, your company name, your email address, …

I forgot my password, what do I do?

Please click on the “login” button at the top of the page and click on “Password lost”. Subsequently enter the email address you signed up with. We will send the further instructions by mail.

How do I deactivate my account?

If you are encountering a problem by using the website, we kindly ask you to contact us, so that we can do our utmost best to find a solution.    

 

If you wish to have your VetTube account removed, please send us your written request by post or by e-mail.  We nevertheless inform you that some of your data must be kept because they are necessary for the proper functioning of our platform or because it is required by law. These data will nevertheless be treated as highly confidential.

How do I know a video is certified ?

The number of points you can obtain from a video is mentioned next to each video. If nothing is mentioned regarding the points, it means that the course is not certified.

I have followed an online course in eLearning mode. Since my score was not satisfactory, I wish to follow the course again. Nevertheless, when I go the eLearning mode of this video, I get the message “You have already submitted the questionnary on {Date}”. 

For each video (each chapter) you have two chances to obtain the score of minimum 60%. Nevertheless, as mentioned several times during the eLearning process, when you click at the end of the eLearning on the button “Validate the score and complete my eLearning test”, you finalize your eLearning. In this case you no longer have the possibility to follow the course in eLearning mode.

It is therefore very important not to click on this button if you wish to undertake a second attempt for one or more chapters in the eLearning mode.

How to undertake a second attempt in the eLearning mode?

For each video (each chapter) you have two chances to obtain the minimum score of 60%.
After having completed a chapter (sometimes a chapter is the complete video), you have the possibility to try a second attempt. You do this by opening the video in eLearning mode (if you are not already in eLearning mode) and by clicking on the chapter in question. You watch the chapter again and submit the replies one more time.

You must be aware that the last obtained score is the only one that will figure in your final results. If you had a better result during the first attempt, this first score will unfortunately not be taken into account.

Can I watch videos full screen?

Yes, by clicking on the full screen button on the bottom right-hand side of the video player.

Where can I consult my invoices?

Your invoices can be consulted and printed online. You simply have to log into the website, go to the section “my purchases”, where you can find the necessary information.

Can I cancel a video purchase (only applicable for non-subscribers)?

As long as the payment procedure has not been completed, you are free to cancel a video purchase. Once the payment instructions have been completed, a cancellation for a video purchase is no longer possible.

For certified courses: Where can I find my certificate after having succeeded the evaluation test in eLearning mode?

When you have completed a course in eLearning mode and succeeded the evaluation test (at least 60%), your certificate will be available in your personal user zone. Log in to the website, click on the button that contains your name at the top of the page and then click on the “eLearning” part. In this part you can download you certificate. Please print it and save it on your computer. You can use your certificate to have your credits valued.

How can I add a video to my favorites?

To add a video to your favorites, you go to the video in question and click on the “heart” symbol that can be found.

Where can I find my favorites?

To find your favorites, you log in to the website and go to the button that contains your name at the top of the page (your personal user zone). There you can find the “my favorites” part.

How do I have to understand the expiration date of my videos?

A purchased video is available in your personal account during a period of 15 calendar days for non-subscribers and a week for subscribers (a period that is renewable until the end of the subscription). In your personal user zone, the expiration/validity date is mentioned. If you have for instance a video with validity date until May 12th, the video will be available until May 12th included.

How to extend the availability period of (a) purchased video(s)? (only for non-subscribers)

A purchased video remains available in your personal user zone for 15 calendar days.   

The following 2 tools allow you to extend the access to the purchased video(s):

- Becoming a DUO or TEAM member of VetTube: as a subscriber, you will have an unlimited access to the VetTube videos until the end of the validity period of your subscription. For more information, please log into VetTube and click on the button “subscribe” at the top of the page. 

- A few days before the end of the validity date of your video(s), you will receive a mail that informs you that the purchased video will expire. The mail contains a link that allows you to extend the access period to the purchased video with a period of 7 additional calendar days at an attractive price. Follow the instructions to extend the viewing access.

I have a VetTube voucher or promo code. How do I use it? (Only for non-subscribers)

You received a VetTube discount voucher or a promo code? Add the desired video(s) to your shopping cart and introduce the voucher code in the field "Voucher" or the promo code in the field "Promo code" and validate the purchase. The discount amount will be immediately deducted from the total amount of the purchase.

What happens if I have a voucher with a higher value than the price of the video I would like to purchase?

If the price of a video is lower than the value of your voucher, the remaining voucher value can be used for a next purchase. You can use the voucher code several times as long as the total value has not been consumed or the expiration date has not been reached.

It is nevertheless not possible to choose the voucher amount you wish to spend on a video.
